Pauline Chausson, senior associate

Pauline Chausson has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2017 and joined Le Tutour Avocats in 2019.

She works mainly on accident cases involving personal injury, often with an international dimension (accidents in France involving foreign victims or accidents abroad involving French victims), and raising issues of medical liability, civil liability – defective products, traffic accidents, acts of animals or things, in particular – aviation law, and criminal law.

She defends victims in amicable proceedings (settlements, CCI, etc.) and litigation (judicial courts, administrative courts, CIVI, etc.).

She defends, in particular

  • victims of defective breast implants
  • victims of damage resulting from medical negligence 
  • victims of sports accidents
  • victims of serious traffic accidents in France and abroad
  • victims of damage occurring during permanent laser hair removal sessions

Before joining the firm, Pauline began her career at the American law firm Galluzzo & Arnone LLP in New York. There, she developed her practice in American law, both state and federal, and became familiar with negotiation techniques.

She then spent two years working at the Parisian firm Soulez Larivière et Associés, where she gained solid experience in civil and criminal litigation in highly technical and sector-specific cases.

In addition to her work at the firm, she acts as an emergency criminal defence lawyer for the Barreau de Paris and is regularly appointed.

Pauline is also a member of the European association PEOPIL (Pan-European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers), which brings together lawyers specialising in personal injury practising throughout Europe. She is regularly invited to speak at conferences organised by PEOPIL’s New Lawyers Group, aimed at young lawyers with less than ten years’ experience at the bar.

Pauline is fluent in English.
