Solenn Le Tutour, founding partner

Solenn Le Tutour has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2004 and a solicitor of England and Wales (non practising) since 2009. Having lived and worked in England for several years, she handles a number of accident cases for English-speaking clients who have been involved in accidents in France and for clients residing in France who have been involved in accidents abroad.

She works with colleagues in the United States, England, and throughout the European Union on behalf of her clients.

A former Secretary of the Conference, she represents her clients in compensation proceedings before civil and administrative courts, as well as before criminal courts when criminal proceedings are brought following an accident.

She has developed particular expertise in aviation accidents. 

She also acts in case of defective medical devices, medical malpractice, professional and amateur sports accidents, high-risk professional activities, accidents abroad.

Her diverse skills in French civil liability law, criminal law, administrative law and her knowledge of common law enable her to offer her clients a comprehensive civil and criminal litigation strategy, most often international, in order to reach a settlement of the dispute.

After completing her higher education in law in Germany and two years in England, she practised for two years in London (Chadbourne and Parke LLP) before starting her career as a solicitor in France with Hermance Schaepman and the aviation department of Bird & Bird in Paris.

Her experience of living and working abroad and her qualification as a Solicitor of England and Wales (non-practising) enable her to handle complex and high yield cross-border accident cases with confidence.

She is regularly called upon to act as a Part 35 Expert before the courts of England and Wales.

She is fluent in spoken and written English.
